It’s been a long time since I’ve thought life was all black and white. After that Earth shattering discovery, I began to realize just how much grey area there really was. Though, I also like to inject a little color into my surroundings. How you choose to look at life, whether it’s either good, bad or a mix of both, is up to you. For everything else, there’s always retail therapy. Like hitting the new MNML Expo. Above (details below) you’ll find the items XIAJ is offering for women, but there’s a good mix from 12 other stores including: BSD, Okia, Toro, Illmatic, Zibska, Posesion, SYS, Modern Couture, M.I.A.B., Sabotage, and Drop. So, get on down there and check out one of the newest SL shopping events!
I’m going to be honest… I normally stay away from fairs. Not because I have anything against them whatsoever, but I always end up spending WAY TOO MUCH! Then again, that’s not going to stop me from telling you about The Garage Fashion Fair that starts on the 15th of May and runs until the 31st. It looks like it’s going to be a nice mix of all types of styles which makes me excited. And it’s also given me a chance to learn about some stores I’ve never been to.
I will be updating the blog as the fair begins, but unfortunately I won’t be at home the day it begins so you may have to do some Googling until I can get back 😉
I’m having one of those days where I have so much to say and yet I don’t want to say anything at all. You know when you have things you want to talk about, but at the same time you don’t want to acknowledge some of them because they don’t deserve the attention. But then there are other things that are going on that you want to scream from the rooftops, but at the same time you want them all for yourself. Yeah, I’m a little greedy in that sense 😉
Though, I will say that I’m still playing catch up with blog posts and I’m sorry to anyone who’s been waiting for me to blog their stuff. I’ve been busy RL and a little preoccupied SL 😉 Today, however, I was able to get a post up and it’s featuring a sexy fun dress from [Context]. If you haven’t been to see Kennef’s stuff then I recommend getting down to the store. He’s awesome items and definitely some things with personality! In fact, I think he’s been working on tons of new stuff so even better 😀 Oh, and did you know that Boudoir does prefabs? Most of them I have seen are clubs, like the one in the background of this pic (The Lounge), but they all look pretty fun. So, if you’re wanting to club it out in your own sky then I say go for it 😀
I think at some point in life, everyone find him or herself in a situation where he or she wants to make others jealous. Maybe it’s an ex that broke their heart or a best friend that stabbed the person in the back. The situation makes them conjure up ways to seek revenge, and sometimes jealousy can be a perfect tool. So, they start thinking, “I’m going to show them (the wrong doer).” Well, if you happen to be wanting to show off what your ex gave up or just how much better you look than your hag of an ex best friend… then look no further than this dress right here. It hugs in all the right places, shows just the right amount of skin, and is sure to drive that “special” person CRAZY. So, remember kids… envy makes people green and should be handled with care ❤
Do you ever just lay back and think of all the things you haven’t done or have done in your life? Sometimes, when I think about it I realize that I tend to stick with things that are safe and planned. Don’t get me wrong… I have lived thousands of miles away from my family, on my own, in a foreign country where I didn’t really speak the language. However, when it comes to people and love, well, those are just a couple of things I like to take my time with. There are lessons to be learned from falling in love or trusting too fast. Just as there are rewards when it comes to jumping in head first.
So, maybe instead of lying around… we should be doing more. A little thought for you to ponder. That is if you’re not too distracted by my outfit 😉
I am in love with this dress from Jack Spoon. Though, I pretty much say that about everything I blog and it’s true every time. I think I have a problem, a shopping problem, a blogging problem, a photo problem, and I’m sure that my inventory would agree. It’s begging for attention and I just keep ignoring it, telling it that it’ll be okay. Thank goodness, and I’m almost positive, that my inventory won’t explode.
Anyway, the dress I’m wearing today is from Jack Spoon and is available at the Back to Black event. The event is going on until the 29th, so make sure you check it out while you can. There are a ton of other great designers there as well!
It’s Sunday and almost over at that. I remember the days when I used to spend my Sunday mornings at mass with my family before having a big brunch with them. You know what they say about good Catholic girls… Living proof right here. 😛 Anyway, I love this dress and I can’t get enough of it. I don’t think my mom would approve it for church, but what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
