For the past few weeks, my SL has been a little bit different to say the least. It’s the first time in a LONG time that I’ve actually been single and just let myself be without someone there… romantically anyway. Though, I have to say that my friends have been awesome and encouraging. They’ve listened to my stories of debauchery and let me know that it’s okay to go a little wild. I don’t know why, but every once in a while I get a pang of guilt. Like talking to all these random people and flirting is wrong. But always being committed to someone will do that to you.
It’s been an interesting time for me in SL. If you haven’t noticed my past few posts or just weren’t paying attention. 😛 The one thing I have been able to do is catch up with friends and make new ones. Sometimes, they take pity on me and they invite me out and get me out of my house/off my platform. Anyway, I ended up going to listen to some music with a friend last night and I fell in love with Lorde’s Royals. In case you haven’t heard it, I imbedded the video at the end of this post. I love it and if you like music then I recommend checking it out.
I just went through a break up
But it’s okay, I got my cake up
Do my hair, put on some makeup
Tryna see where tonight gon’ take us
I put some pics up lookin’ sexy
Now this wanna text me
How much you wanna bet me?
He gon’ regret the day he left me
Celebratin’ the breakin’ up, oh whoa
Bartender , go ‘head and pour me a little more
Tonight we gon’ have us a good time
Let’s have a toast to our goodbyes, oh whoa
Ladies, it’s your song
So as soon as this come on
You should get out on the floor
Go and get your sexy on
If you know that you better
Than the new girl that he on
Go ‘head and tell him now,
“You gon’ miss me when I’m gone.”

I’ve noticed there seems to be a big division in Second Life over “implants.” There are those who consistently wear them, some who can’t wear them big enough, and others who completely despise them. As far as I’m concerned… I like wearing them from time to time. I tend to keep mine on the more reasonable side, but I figure it’s SL so be who and what you want. Plus, Melo likes when I wear them… just don’t tell him that I told you all that 😛
Anyway, for those of you who like to prance around in your “implants” or if you’re like me and you throw them on from time to time then the Boobies Show is for you! I’ve featured a couple of releases for this round so go and check it out. I bet you’ll find all kinds of goodies for your girls.
I was talking about my high school days with Carmelo today and it was interesting to say the least. Mainly because we definitely had different experiences and I mentally can’t connect myself with who I was back then. Life has changed for me in so many ways; I’ve seen plenty of things, had experiences people only imagine and I guess I’ve just grown. Maybe my foundation is still the same, but I am, for sure, miles away from the girl I was.
So, I decided to throw together a look that was opposite from what I normally wear / look like. It’s a little bad-ass, a little glam, and a little sexy. And I think it worked out well. Perhaps, I used to be a little unlike I am now, but maybe different isn’t such a bad thing.
So, I went a little wild when The Boutique opened with their new safari theme. Ha. Get it, I went wild. Okay, I obviously need to work on my comedy a little. Therefore, I will just leave you with a few of my favorite things from this go around!
This dress, in this color, reminds me of love. It evokes these feelings and emotions in me that bring back memories of falling in love. Maybe it’s the soft pink color that reminds me of Sakura falling at the beginning of Spring in Japan. That was always my favorite. It was like watching it snow flowers. So, there’s a possibility that’s why this dress reminds me of love. Or there’s always the theory that I just like love. I mean, heck, it’s tattooed on my body so I should believe in it right?
Something that’s a little easier to decode than my ramblings about love? Well, that’s pretty much everything – so just get your pretty little shopaholic bottoms down to the United Fashion Project where you can pick up the dress I’m wearing as well as the colors shown below!
Every time I see a school girl outfit, I always think about Aerosmith’s “Crazy” video with Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler. They make being bad look really fun and exciting. Which makes me wonder if I would have turned out like that if my dad had ever made good on his threat to send us to Catholic school. On the flip side, I’m an adult with more than a couple tattoos and piercings. So, maybe I didn’t need to go in order to turn out rebellious. Though, if you ask me it’s a form of self expression.
