Let It Go

My RL has been a bit chaotic lately. The person in charge where I work left abruptly and somehow everyone has turned to me for everything. Honestly, I didn’t think much of this because she kept me updated on a lot of stuff. I know where files are, what’s in the pipeline, and I had already done some of the work for the upcoming months during Summer. Anyway, I had mentioned what was going on to a long time friend in SL and he mentioned how I always get dumped on professionally. I thought about it, and he’s right. For some reason, when everything goes to H-E-double hockey sticks, I end the filtering system. Though, I will just fluff my ego, and say it’s because I’m amazing and I do well in stressful situations.

Lucky for me there is a way to cheer myself up in SL! The love of my SLife, though he doesn’t know it, recently released some new hair at FaMESHed and The Seasons Story. That’s right… Truth has created new hairstyles and stolen my heart again. *Sigh* It’s probably best he isn’t aware of my love for him because then he may get distracted and I wouldn’t be able to indulge myself in his wonderful hairs. So, when life gets you down… whether it be RL or SL… there is always new hair at Truth.

Yet, I’m the only light that you see

It’s been a while since I have blogged anything just to blog it. Which is ironic and sad all at the same time given that I spend most of my time putting outfits together out of various articles of clothing. This outfit is definitely something I would wear on a normal occasion. It’s girly, flirty, casual, and you could dress it up a bit more if you wanted. All in all, I will call it perfect for me.

I don’t care, I love it

Over the (almost 5) years that I have been in SL, there has been an enormous increase in the amount of shopping events put on. There are ones that are weekly, biweekly, monthly, and annually. There’s even one based on astrological signs, but that’s a whole other post coming up.

Anyway, I can remember when the events were so far apart that it was hard having to wait for the next one to come along. But now, we’re blessed with events like FaMESHed. Honestly, I used to hate mesh, but I have come to fall in love with it. Unfortunately, I still have some weird attachment to many of my prim clothes that I’ve collected over the years. Le sigh. But enough of my psychobabble, the following are just some of the awesome items you’ll find at FaMESHed. As you can see, I went on a little bit of a shopping spree… oops. 😉
