So, this year’s Fashion for Life event ends tomorrow (3/17) at noon. This means that there’s still some time to head over and spend some Lindens for a good cause. If you are unfamiliar with this event, it benefits Relay for Life which is done by the American Cancer Society. Personally, I lost my grandmother to leukemia when I was a teenager and this organization has a special place in my heart. Below, you’ll see that I’m featuring a few outfits from Countdown that were done for FFL. Now, get on with it, get over there before they close that sim down!
Hair: Truth – Zendaya in Seasand Skin: Glam Affair – Amberly in India 03 Outfit: Countdown – Karolina Gold Bodysuit Earring: Maxi Gossamer – Kizzy Gypsy Hoops in Gold
So, I got a nice surprise earlier this week – Miss Agnes Finney herself had dropped a box of goodies on me! In the midst of looking through all the goodness, I began to remember how I first learned of Agnes Finney and her store. It started with this dress.
The Goddess dress, one of her earlier releases, was the first experience I had with her gorgeous creations. A dress I had come across after asking my ex-boyfriend (who I was with at the time) to make me over. What can I say? He was good with the landmarks and still is if you need things. Anyway, after changing my shape, skin, hair, etc. we decided we were going to go to a jazz club. Yes, formal wear used to be a normal occurrence for me. That dress was amazing – sexy and classy.
But alas, this blog entry isn’t all about memories and a single dress – it’s about her newest releases.
You know, I never knew the power of a simple pearl necklace until I was in college. It just so happened that my sorority’s jewel was the pearl… yes, I have graduated from college (which I guess means I can’t claim I’m 20). Oh, you were more surprised that I am a sorority girl. -_-
If you haven’t gotten that song stuck in your head at least once then you must be living under a rock! Anyway, speaking of “countdowns,” I was fortunate enough to come across Countdown. This is a new to me store and let me say that AntoniaXp is bringing it. In fact, I loved everything I tried on. The outfit I am featuring today was one of my favorites because it’s a little bit glam with a bit of tough. What can I say? I’m a sucker for anyone who pairs a black biker style jacket with a gold glittering dress. Just saying.
But enough about what I like, go check it out and see for yourself!
Zoey Gabardini is a Goddess if I do say so myself. Her clothing is feminine yet comfortable and in my book you can’t get any better than that. She has recently released a line of high rise shorts and loose tops that create an effortlessly pulled together look. So, make sure you go check out her store if you haven’t because you won’t be disappointed!
Also, make sure you check out the October collabor88 collection that’s out. I’ll blog more on that later 🙂
