I am such an odd person. And, with that statement… everyone I’m friends with in SL just chimed in an opinion and agreed. But, I was referring to my style. In RL, I was a tomboy for so long. When I was studying Sports Medicine, I lived in basketball shorts and my grey athletic training tee. It probably didn’t help that I chopped my hair short at the point too. Fast forward a few years and my new favorite color is pink and I adore make up. So, I guess you could say that I’ve evolved into more of a girl’s girl.
. . . I have never faked a sarcasm in my life. Now for other things that girls may fake every now and again, well, I don’t kiss and tell 😉 Of course, we’re talking about using fake eyelashes, right? You bunch of pervs!
This week’s Red Solo Cup Challenge is strength. What gives us strength or what it means to us. Having seen quite a bit in my life, there are so many things that define strength for me.
Though, right now, I would have to say that strength is the ability to shake things off and move ahead. It’s the desire to grab a hold of something and letting it take you in a new direction. Strength is not letting people pull you down and giving in to their negativity. I would also say it’s the ability to open your heart when all you wanted to do was close it down. Being strong comes from within, and sometimes we forget it’s there, but if you’re lucky like me… your friends will always remind you where to find it. That’s what strength is to me.
