Welcome to the New Age

I’m pretty sure I dressed like this in RL at one time or another. I was a bit emo, but I feel like Lori’s releases at Corvus are a little more than that. Sure they are more on the edgy side, but I think there’s so much flexibility. You’ve seen my previous posts of her stuff where it can be fun and girly or rocker or even a little goth, I suppose. In any way, her stuff is great and she’s released quite a bit recently. Most of which I’m still trying to catch up on. So, make sure you check back to see more of her goodies!

This post was going to be about how I wasn’t going to apologize for myself or my actions any longer. But, then I had the realization that I will always be one that admits to her faults and will more likely than not take the full blame to save problems.

So, instead I’m going to mention that California has finally opened its doors. They have a lot of crazy, trendy items and I must say that the wild colors have been appealing to me. What can I say? I’m starting to branch out for my black, white, and grey

I just found an excuse to finally wear my Lolas Tango and it comes in the form of chest tattoos. If you’ve been following my blog, then you know I don’t usually wear tattoos, but lately… well, I’ve been donning them a little more frequently. And with Anjelina Goldlust of Angelic releasing tattoos for the Lolas there is no excuse not to. Plus they’re edgy with a bit of girly and we all know that’s exactly my style. Shop, shop, shop, shop

I’m going to be honest… I normally stay away from fairs. Not because I have anything against them whatsoever, but I always end up spending WAY TOO MUCH! Then again, that’s not going to stop me from telling you about The Garage Fashion Fair that starts on the 15th of May and runs until the 31st. It looks like it’s going to be a nice mix of all types of styles which makes me excited. And it’s also given me a chance to learn about some stores I’ve never been to.

I will be updating the blog as the fair begins, but unfortunately I won’t be at home the day it begins so you may have to do some Googling until I can get back

So, Carmelo and I had a date a few days ago. We decided to go dancing and he put on the awesome Kauna suit from the FaMESHed event. Well, of course, I couldn’t let my man be all sexy by himself. I was digging through my inventory when I came across the Cynful Draped Dress in Red Suede that I got a while back at TDR Fusion. What can I say? He liked my booty in it.

Anyway, if you know me then you know I’m a sucker for a good white dress, or black, or really any color. Below, you’ll see the stylized Cynful Draped Dress in Solid White. You took my heart and you held it in your mouth

I was looking at this picture while I was editing it and to most people, it’s a simple blogger pic. Nothing spectacular, just a way to showcase wonderful items from Second Life. But, it brought out this idea of being vulnerable and tough all at the same time. The idea that someone may look tough on the outside, but knowing that sometimes… on the inside, they’re extremely fragile. I don’t think I would describe myself in these exact terms, but I know what it’s like to have to be strong, be the rock when all you want to do is crumble, just a little it and hope someone catches you. There probably isn’t a real reason for all this babble, but to maybe know that things aren’t always as they appear. A lot of times there is so much more to a person than what you see. Sometimes it is the greatest surprise you could ever wish for and other times it’s the hugest disappointment ever. Though, I suppose that’s life.
